After 17 years in business as Viridian Wood, my business partner Joe Mitchoff, and I decided to shut down the business in 2021.Our main focus was on servicing the hospitality industry, including restaurants, hotels, bars, retail, casinos, commercial office buildouts, and higher education. The onset of Covid in 2019 drastically impacted these sectors, leading to a downturn in our business and eventual sale. Following a well-deserved break, I was encouraged by our past clients to continue Viridian’s legacy of sustainability. This led to the birth of WD Walls, a venture where Pierce's expertise in eco-friendly practices played a pivotal role. While maintaining our commitment to the environment, WD Walls has a more specialized focus on wall treatments and flooring. Joe, meanwhile, is enjoying his time off, indulging in world travel and family time. Pierce is excited to steer WD Walls towards new horizons, keeping sustainability at its core.
