What is your ACH Funds Transfer/Wire Transfer information?
Please email us and we’ll be happy to send you our Wire/ACH info.

Shipping
General Shipping Information
All our products ship with a common carrier to save on fuel costs and carbon emissions. If your order is paid in full, we schedule a truck to pick up your order and provide you with an estimated date of arrival along with tracking information. Your order will be delivered in a large tractor trailer unless otherwise specified for some residential situations with narrow streets. We generally try to use FedEx because of their excellent tracking and record of service.
Where do you ship?
We regularly ship throughout the US and Canada. Duties and fees the responsibility of the receiving party.
Can I pay extra for a lift gate truck?
Yes. If you don’t have a forklift on site and need a lift gate, please make sure to tell your salesperson at the time of ordering. Products must be cut and packaged to 8ft lengths or less to fit on a lift gate.
How do I unload my material on site? Do I need a forklift?
Your material will arrive stacked in bundles, strapped, and wrapped on a pallet. We find it best to offload with a forklift if this is an option. If no forklift is available and you didn’t order a lift gate truck, please have several helping hands to manually unload the bundles. You will have approximately 30 minutes to do this before extra time charges apply. You will need a pair of tin snips to cut through the metal banding securing your load beforehand unloading. If you did order a lift gate, the delivery company will use a pallet jack to move your pallet to the curb. It will be your responsibility to get the pallet to its final location from the street.
Will the Delivery Driver or Dispatch call me to let me know when they will arrive?
Yes, if you requested this as an option when setting up shipping, we loop you in so that there is full transparency in communications with the carrier.
Is an appointment delivery required?
You do not need an appointment for delivery; however, drivers will generally call to see if the estimated time still works for you before heading over. You can also request a delivery window, but they are never guaranteed.
What should I do if my material arrives damaged?
Rarely material can get damaged during transport. If you notice any damage to your shipment as you unload, please make a written note on the Bill of Lading stating that the shipment was received damaged. Document the damage in photographs and email them to us immediately. If there is any dispute from the driver/carrier company, and we lack pictures, it is difficult to prove that the damage occurred during transport. Regardless of blame, we will replace any damaged material and will arrange any needed returns as quickly as we can to keep your project on track.
General Wood Questions
What is acclimation and why/how do I need to do it?
Acclimation is the process of allowing the wood to equalize humidity levels and conform to its new environment. This is one of the most important steps in the installation process and ensures the wood planks stay tight. We recommend separating all the bundles and acclimating our wood products for 7 to 14 days depending on your space and based on the type of wood you are acclimating. Soft wood acclimates faster than hardwood. It is important that all “wet work” such as drywall mudding and painting be fully complete and that there will be no additional moisture added to the space before acclimation and installation. It is also advisable to have the HVAC system up and running to ensure that the space is at normal humidity levels.
What is the Janka hardness scale on your products?
The Janka hardness test is a consistent standard test that measures the resistance of a sample of wood to denting and wear. The higher the number, the harder the wood. Each product specification sheet on our site lists the Janka hardness of that product.
Can you handle large volume orders?
Yes. We have dealt with large volume orders and protracted roll-out schedules that lasted for years. If you are opening locations once a week or more, we have you covered! It just takes a little coordination.
Does your pre-finished wood paneling have a warranty?
Yes, our engineered products carry a 3-year commercial warranty on the finish.
How to clean wood paneling?
We suggest all wall paneling be dusted and cleaned with a vacuum hose attachment. The bristles and vacuum do a good job getting the dust and grime off the wall. If you need to use a solvent for grease or other stains, please try it out in a small, discreet hidden area before attempting the entire project. Some cleaners are too harsh, and this determination will be up to you.
Do you have exterior siding?
Yes. Our Thermo-Clad Thermally Modified Pine is a great option for outside use. This line of products is designed to be exposed to harsh conditions. Our exterior rated rain screen material is perfect for the outsides of buildings when installed appropriately and our interior version of the same product is suitable for outdoor use where minimal exposure to rain Is expected, such as ceilings.

Do I have to install your exterior products for a rain screen on furring strips?
Yes. Generally, this is the best practice for most installations. We defer to the construction company doing the work for best practices when installing a rain screen. There are best-accepted practices that involve this type of work and due to the liability of specifying how exterior rain screens are installed, we do not make specific recommendations on how to install these products.
Isn’t this wood from pallets? Are they safe to re-use? Should I be worried about insects or chemicals?
Some of our products are made from shipping dunnage, pallets and dimensional wood used for crating and transportation. The wood comes from a variety of international and domestic locations. The exterior of the wood might be rough when it gets to us, but it is completely safe for re-use in our products. We do not accept any lumber that is treated with chemicals.
All our wood is kiln dried for both wood stability and protection from insects. You can be confident that we take material safety very seriously and stand behind our work.
Do you have unfinished options or are all your products pre-finished?
Most of our products are pre-finished here in Oregon. By finishing in our factory, we can control the process and reduce the cost and complication of finishing onsite. We do offer some of our products unfinished. Please reach out via our contact form if this is something you require for your job.
Can your engineered products be used for flooring?
While we don’t specifically focus on flooring applications, we manufacture our paneling to rigorous flooring standards. Yes, you can order our Eco-Engineered product lines and use them for flooring. They even carry a warranty for residential and commercial use.
Do you offer a Class A, non-combustible finish (ASTM E-84)?
The main treatment we use is applied at our mill that penetrates the surface which results in a paneling that has a class “A” rating. Most wood paneling has a class “C” fire rating without this treatment. Some of our products can have a class “A” fire treatment added to them for an additional fee.
Sustainability
Are your products sustainably certified?
The Forest Stewardship Council is the global leader in preserving the world’s remaining forests, and we are proud that all our products are FSC certified or PEFC certified. We’ve been FSC members since 2006. Specific claim information is located on each product specification page.
What is PEFC?
PEFC is just like the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) but more stringent. It is the largest forest certification system globally. They work to protect our forests by promoting sustainable forest management through certification. This means we can all benefit from the many products that forests provide now, while ensuring these forests will be around for generations to come.
Where do you source your wood?
Our reclaimed wood is salvaged from a variety of sources, primarily industrial buildings at the end of their lifecycle. We also salvage wood from other sources such as fences, shipping crates, and other postindustrial uses. Our Eco-engineered line is responsibly sourced from PEFC Certified Forests as well as other sustainably harvested sources such as orchard salvage.
What are VOCs?
Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's) are organic chemical compounds which evaporate quickly from finishes, emitting noxious smells. Low-VOC finishes, such as hard wax oil and UV cured Urethanes, are the best options to reduce VOC's indoors to almost undetectable levels. All our finishes are Greenguard Gold certified for indoor air quality.
What does LEED mean?
LEED stands for “Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design” and was created by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC). This program established standards for environmentally sound construction that meets specific sustainable criteria.
Are your products LEED point eligible?
Yes. Most of our products are eligible for LEED points but they vary per product.
